Craftwork Cards Wreath Kit Box Frames and Card

Image
Hi! The final post in the Craftwork Cards Wreath series, I finally got around to finishing the frames with the last of my leftover flowers! These were done in the same way as the pink colourway, so if you want a more detailed how-to on these, check the links to my older posts in January, that should be over here somewhere!---> Bonus little card with the last few flowers and a black die cut leaf cluster. That's it for today! Lesley x Supplies: Craftwork Cards Wreath Kit (monochrome colourway from 2012) Small frames (pound shop!) Pearl embellishments (pound shop!) Tools Hot Glue gun Firm foam mat Glass mat Tonic large embossing tool Strong tacky PVA glue (I used Collall Tacky-glue today as it is pretty quick drying and strong enough to hold the dimensional flowers)

Monochrome Craftwork Cards Wreaths

Hi! Just a quick update, that I will return with some new crafty posts, but at the moment I am re-fitting our downstairs cloak room and am in the throws of re-tiling, and putting in a new sink and towel rail! I didn't think the progress photos of that would be too interesting! So crafting is a bit on hold (I might have had a sneaky day off to Crafting Live at Sandown on Friday and come back with more stuff... I was very good and didn't buy anymore patterned papers (okay I did, but they were £1 each in a 12 for £10 deal so it doesn't count!) I did manage to squeeze in a little crafting and to finish the wreaths from the last Craftwork Cards pack in the monochrome colourway - I still need to finish the picture frames to go with them! I didn't do any inking on this set, so I might go back and add some subtle sparkle with my new (yes Crafting Live purchase) Spectrum Noir Sparkle Clear Overlay Brush Pens, but that will have to wait for another day! Quick Extra Card from the Craftwork Cards Wreath leftovers

Hi, I said I would make a card with the leftover flowers from the Craftwork Card Wreaths I made earlier today, so here it is! :) A super quick Thank You card! The die-cut leaves are a single die that I cut from a scrap of American Crafts cardstock in my bits box. The die is from M&C Boutique, which is the brand you find in The Works (UK). In case you ever looked at them and wondered if they are any good, I think they are fantastic and a much lower price point than some you can find, this one cost £3 and as you can see is over 3" (8cm). The stamp is from Craftwork Cards Stamp It II set of clear stamps, again stamp on a scrap from my bits box. Craftwork Cards Wreaths and Bonus Frames

Hi! Did you make any new year's resolutions? I make the same one every year - use up the craft products I have before buying any more... so here I am trying to stick to it this year! I decided to use up a lovely Craftwork Cards wreath set that I have had for years. What you see today is only a third of the kit which I bought I have to admit, several years ago (2012 to be precise!) I have used one third that was in red and green - Christmas colours - I sold all those wreaths at a school craft fair. I had made one wreath from the colour way I used today, and it has been used in my house in different guises, around a candle as home décor, and hung on a wall. So all I did today was copy the one wreath I had made years ago! These are what I ended up with today Craftwork Cards kits are great. Their flowers are already cut out, ready for you to pop out of a sheet and craft with. I popped all my flowers out and inked them all a little with some pale pink ink. Then came t...
